Consultants are typically engaged on a day-rate basis — based on our own market data, Bid Writers average around £500-£800 per day and Bid Managers around £600-£900 per day (depending on experience / industry / location), or on a fixed project price or risk-reward basis for longer assignments. Because the return on a winning bid is the contract itself, the right support routinely pays for itself many times over on a single win.
