With 25+ years' experience in corporate solution sales, new business development, sales management, international bid and contract management. Much of it spent selling technical solutions in highly commoditised, competitive markets, using this to hone his skills.
Commercially astute, self-motivated and disciplined, has led, project managed and contributed to often complex, Public and Private sector bids (in excess of £100m), both Nationally and Internationally, as required.
Key Achievements
A 6-month detachment to Finland, helping a Space company introduce bid processes, tools and skillsets to enable them to pitch effectively to major Governments around the world. Every pitch was bespoke, incorporating their Unique Selling Points (USP's), Win Themes and Value Proposition, specific to each target client opportunity.
Working with a Global client operating in the Business to Business (B2B) landscape, managing and overseeing their complex bids across multiple international time zones and cultures, requiring all his skills in terms of; Bid Management, Bid Solutioning, Bid Writing, Commercial Build support, Shortlist Pitch Production and Pitch Delivery Coaching / Mentoring.
Experience
This Associate has sat opposite procurement and finance decision makers countless times to pitch meaningful and thought-provoking proposals, bringing this knowledge to bear, in support of the bid response process.
Security cleared to 'NATO Secret' and extremely motivated by the Aerospace/Space and Defence sectors, having gained significant experience working with clients such as Cobham, Selex, B2Space, ICEYE, Babcock, Leonardo, SSTL, Spaceflight Academy.
