An experienced Bid Manager with excellent management skills and a successful track record in winning multi-million dollar bids. Responsibility as the Bid Manager entails the effective operation of the bid team, ensuring a structured approach, from qualifying the opportunity to win by minimising risk and maximising the chances of success. Primary role is to provide a persuasive professional compliant response that brings out the best in the company, convincing the customer to purchase from the company in preference to the competition.

Consistently exceeded annual revenue targets and maintained percentage win rates above the national average - achieving accumulative annual wins in excess > £200m.
Deployed and implemented bid management tools including SharePoint proposal library.
Coaching and mentoring sales teams on what makes a winning proposal.
Implementing APMP best practice to reduce bid cycle time, enabling Sales to spend more time in front of the customer.
Won strategic tenders that secured employment within the company.
Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance.
Experience
Over 10 years' experience of leading cross business virtual bid teams both nationally and on a global basis. A straightforward, result driven, pragmatic and highly conscientious individual. Expertise in planning, facilitation and delivery and this capability has been developed in bid, product and project management roles with IT and Telecoms vendors, Outsource suppliers and Service Providers.
An in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in facilitating high quality, high value (>$1bn) complex professional bid responses across multiple business sectors; including Central Government, Service Providers, Vendors and the Enterprise sector.
Leading effective pre-bid workshops to qualify the opportunity, identify gaps, establish a top level sales strategy through the use of storyboarding and team participation.
Familiar with APMP best practice.
