An experienced and talented Bid Writer with a strong track record of winning bids within the Education, Youth, Employment and Regeneration sectors. With in-depth knowledge of what funders want to see, this writer has an eye for the unique selling point within each proposal and an ability to communicate it, even when the word count is limited. Key Achievements


Bid writing success with ESF, ERDF, ESA, SFA, GLA, Lottery and EIF/Home Office funding as well as many other smaller trust, corporate and local authority funding bids.
100% success rates in 2018, writing 5 bids worth £50k and £1.8m.
One of this writer's recent bids was identified by the funder (GLA) as 'good practice' and a request was put out for them to use as a training tool to help other organisations submit better bids.

Experience


Over 10 years' experience working at Director level within the Public and Third sector, running Business Development teams, including Business Intelligence, Corporate PR and Marketing functions. A further 10 years working as a Freelance Bid Writer, not only developing partnerships, but also helping organisations to adopt good monitoring and quality infrastructures that support and evidence their track record. Experience of working with organisations who have recently won bids, to put in place effective Delivery Plans including budgets, staffing and resources and evaluation.
