Job Description

Bid Solutions is currently recruiting for a Bid & Pursuit Operations Manager to join a leading financial services firm on a 12-month fixed term contract.

You will be joining a team of creative, strategic, forward-thinking business enablers and together your mission is to ensure the firm has the right tools, technology, strategies, and services in place to deliver exceptional client service and to future-proof their growing business.

About the Bid & Pursuit Operations Manager role:
– You will support the firm by ensuring the correct sales infrastructure and support is in place and kept up to date. In addition, you will take ownership of their pursuit feedback programme, ensuring lessons are learned and that their methodology evolves to give them the best chance of winning in the market.
– As the firm continues its growth journey, they need to professionalise their Sales infrastructure to ensure their Partners and Staff have easy access to the information they need to effectively complete day to day sales activities, whether it be finding standard information about the firm, their credentials in specific markets or the standard information required to pull together a first draft of a bid.
– In addition, this role will focus on ensuring they are learning from our experience and evolving their sales approach to increase the average win rate across the firm, your ultimate long-term aim will be to increase the firm wide win rate through key interventions & improvements.
– Work with senior members of the team to learn from their activity and identify ways to adapt their sales pursuits methodology or Account Management Methodology.
– Identify Sales & BD training needs across the business to develop and implement a consistent approach to winning work.

Key Skills & Experience Required:
– Experience in a strategic sales, pursuits or sales operations role.
– Experience using analytics tools to monitor performance and make data-driven decisions.
– Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and prioritise workload.
– Strategic thinker with creative mindset and an ability to interpret sales feedback into actions.
– Ability to effectively communicate with different target audiences and the ability to develop effective working relationships with and influence senior stakeholders, exuding gravitas and professionalism.
