Bid Writer
Job Description
A major language services provider is seeking a Bid Writer to join its expanding team. The role is responsible for supporting complex bids within the public sector and secure new work for the business.
Main Duties include:
– Writing compelling responses to bid questions in line with customer specifications to support the wider bid function
– Fact finding with stakeholders across the business
– Research on customer profiles
– Uploading and dispatching ITTs and bids to portals
– Keeping a broad commercial awareness and business intelligence, and alerting the sales team to any potential opportunities
– Undertaking additional projects and activities to support Bid Management and Business Development as required
Essential experience and skills required:
– 1+ years bid writing experience for public sector tenders
– A close attention to detail
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Ability to succeed under pressure to meet tender deadlines
– Proficiency in the MS Office suite
– Self-motivated to ensure every tender you work on is of the highest possible standard
