Job Description
Seeking an experienced Senior Proposal Manager to lead complex, high-value bids and drive strategic growth. This role is pivotal in shaping winning solutions, managing bid teams, and ensuring best practice throughout the bid lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead and manage major strategic bids from capture planning to submission.
– Act as the central point for client communication, bid governance, and review processes.
– Develop tailored solutions aligned with client objectives.
– Write and edit bid content – you will be the chief storyteller within the team.
– Champion bidding best practice, quality control, and continuous improvement.
– Coach and mentor colleagues, contributing to team development.
What’s Needed:
– Minimum 8 years’ experience in senior bid management within engineering or construction.
– Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
– Thorough understanding of public sector procurement and bid governance.
– APMP Foundation (or equivalent) and degree-level qualification preferred.
– An understanding or willingness to adopt AI capabilities into bid / proposal workflows
