Bid Writer
Job Description
A major language services provider is seeking a Bid Writer to join its expanding team. The role is responsible for supporting complex bids within the public sector and secure new work for the business.
Main Duties include:
o Writing compelling responses to bid questions in line with customer specifications to support the wider bid function
o Fact finding with stakeholders across the business
o Research on customer profiles
o Uploading and dispatching ITTs and bids to portals
o Keeping a broad commercial awareness and business intelligence, and alerting the sales team to any potential opportunities
o Undertaking additional projects and activities to support Bid Management and Business Development as required
Essential experience and skills required:
o 1+ years bid writing experience for public sector tenders
o A close attention to detail
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Ability to succeed under pressure to meet tender deadlines
o Proficiency in the MS Office suite
o Self-motivated to ensure every tender you work on is of the highest possible standard
