Pitch Consultant (12-Month FTC)
Job Description
A global law firm based is seeking a Pitch Consultant to join them on a 12-Month FTC. This role sits within their international Business Development team where you will be working closely with the team and partners to develop and deliver high-quality proposal documents. This will include drafting, editing, and finalising external-facing BD material such as credentials statements, pitch documents, and response to RFPs.
Pitch Consultant Responsibilities
– Conducting information gathering sessions with relevant BD teams and partners to clarify requirements, client needs, and approach
– Leading kick-off meetings to establish messaging, key milestones, and the core team
– Collaborating with BD teams, lawyers, and firm resources in gathering and compiling information for credentials statements, pitch documents, and response to RFPs
– Analysing pitch request documents to elicit compliance requirements, instructions, and evaluation criteria; undertaking other response management tasks
Pitch Consultant Skills & Qualifications
– Demonstrate knowledge of pitch processes and the ability to utilise pitch management tools
– Display the ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
– Possess the ability to work in a high-pressure environment and use critical and analytical thinking skills
– Preferably have a bachelor’s degree
– Experience managing and leading strategic initiatives with a focus on developing and managing credentials, proposals, tenders, or other written sales tools, as well as developing successful BD strategies and winning proposals
– Experience in a legal, financial services, or professional services environment or an organisation operating in the assigned sectors (where applicable)
