Has achieved an exceptional record in leading bid teams across several industries, with 16 out of 20 major (>£20m) bids won, giving a success rate of 80%.

Key Achievements


Won a £600m rail and systems contract from TfL for a joint venture of Ferrovial and Laing O'Rourke, turning around a failing rail and systems bid process and team, winning client agreement for an innovative, profitable solution for this major infrastructure project.
Delivering the West Anglia Route Modernisation Project (WARM) for Network Rail, all delivered safely, on time and within budget (£184m).
Managing the bid process for the Mitsubishi Corporation on a major steel plant in Iran, worth £1bn, After winning the contract went on to successfully deliver the project as Project Director.
Managing a successful bid for a soft drinks bottling plant in Dagestan.

Experience


Over 30 years' international experience in many industries, such as: Light and Heavy Rail, Utilities, Power Generation, Process Plant, Waste Treatment, Bottling, Smelting and Material handling industries. Management of stakeholders and staff with exceptional people management skills. Mentoring and introducing best practice, contract negotiation and management, identifying bid risks and putting mitigation plans in place and bid governance experience.
