Profile


A meticulous and hard-working Bid Writer, Editor and Proof Reader who is able to take poorly-written content and add the extra 10% that turns it into a winning proposal.
Will edit and critique the proposal to ensure that the key sales messages are incorporated, that it is written in a consistent, grammatically-correct manner, answers the questions and meets all production and delivery requirements.
Can cut down text to meet word counts without losing any key messages.
Able to work from bullet-point response outlines to ghost-write answers.

Key Achievements


Working on successful deals with TCVs between £2m - £20m across both the public and private sectors, often with high compliance and security requirements.
Becoming the "go to" person in several companies when help was needed to produce a compelling proposal.
Designing customer-focused templates for executive summaries and coaching the sales team on their use. The resulting executive summaries frequently passed senior management reviews without needing re-work.
Developing a proposal response repository that was rolled-out as best practice.
Working with multi-national teams and praised for communicating with team members of all nationalities with ease.
Taking on the role of team leader with what was described as "great sensitivity".
