Profile


This associate is an experienced document specialist with extensive knowledge of document handling and management. A Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF expert with a full understanding of technical issues that can arise within complex documents. Strong document management experience to ensure strong version control when multiple people are working on documents.

Key Achievements


Document formatting - editing to apply / repair styles within content; full understanding of heading style use; table of contents; hyperlinks; bookmarks and cross-reference features. Working with pictures, tables or graphic insertions. Creation of in-text tables.
PDF generation from word; OCR, inserting / replacing pages; redacting; any header and footer additions / removal; bookmarking and hyperlinking; pagination; page size changes. Supply granular or combined format; splitting legacy documents into granular format; combining large separate documents into single PDF.
General administrative support to client / project lead, developing client styles and templates, QC checking of client work, document control and management.

Experience


Ability to compile documents to an excellent presentation / output standard using transferrable skills to; manuals, tenders, submissions etc. Achieving deadlines within budget.
Over 7 years' experience preparing extremely high specification advanced technically formatted documents for submissions in US and EU within regulatory guidelines.
Specialist from the Drug Research, Pharmaceutical and CRO, Healthcare, Oil, Publishing and Employment Agencies.
