Best Winning Bid of the Year
This award recognises a company and its team for delivering an outstanding winning bid that has had a significant impact on the organisation’s growth and strategic objectives.
Judging criteria:
- Strategic alignment and impact: Demonstration of how the winning bid aligned with the company’s strategic goals and contributed to significant growth, market expansion, or competitive advantage
- Innovation and creativity: Evidence of innovative and creative approaches that differentiated the bid from competitors
- Team collaboration and excellence: High level of collaboration, coordination, and excellence demonstrated by bid and/or proposal teams ensuring a comprehensive and cohesive bid submission
- Client satisfaction and relationship building: A deep understanding of client needs and how the winning bid exceeded client expectations, fostering strong client relationships and satisfaction
- Outcome and business impact: Measurable outcomes resulting from the winning bid, such as significant revenue growth, market penetration, or long-term business partnerships and the overall impact on the company's success
Suggested evidence to be submitted for consideration:
- Strategic alignment and impact: Examples of how the winning bid strategically aligned with the company’s goals and objectives, e.g. a detailed explanation of how the bid supported the company's growth strategy, expanded market reach, or enhanced its competitive position, supported by relevant data or strategic planning documents
- Innovation and creativity: Evidence of the innovative and creative elements of the winning bid, including unique approaches, compelling narratives, creative problem-solving, or novel solutions that set the bid apart from competitors
- Team collaboration and excellence: Evidence of exceptional teamwork and collaboration that contributed to the winning bid, including examples of cross-functional teamwork, coordination between the bid and proposal teams, and integration of diverse expertise to deliver a comprehensive and cohesive submission
- Client satisfaction and relationship building: Evidence demonstrating how the bid team understood and met or exceeded client expectations, e.g. client feedback highlighting the team's understanding of client needs, the quality of the proposed solution, and/or any long-term partnerships or repeat business that resulted from the bid
- Outcome and business impact: Evidence of the winning bid's outcomes and its impact on the business (e.g. data on revenue growth, new business secured, market penetration, or other key metrics showing the bid’s contribution to the company's success) and a narrative on how this win has strategically positioned the company for future growth or enhanced its market standing
