Job Description

A leading Telecare provider is seeking an experienced Bid Writer to join its team on a remote working basis. In this role, you will be required to craft compelling, high-quality bids that secure new opportunities for proactive and preventative services. You will play a key role in developing winning proposals that align with NHS, social care, and partnership commissioning frameworks.

Bid Writer Key Responsibilities
– Bid Development: Lead and coordinate the end-to-end bid process, ensuring timely, high-quality submissions.
– Content Creation: Write, edit, and proofread bid responses, tailoring messaging to highlight the company’s strengths.
– Strategic Planning: Work with internal teams to develop winning bid strategies aligned with company objectives.
– Bid Library Management: Maintain a repository of bid responses, case studies, and supporting documents.
– Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all bid submissions meet regulatory and contractual requirements.
– Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with teams across sales, operations, and technical functions to gather key information.
– Market & Industry Awareness: Stay up to date with Telecare trends, procurement regulations, and competitor activity.

Bid Writer Key Skills & Experience Required
– At least five years in bid writing, tender management, or proposal development.
– Strong understanding of NHS, social care, and partnership development.
– Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive narratives.
– Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Bid Writer Desirable Skills
– Knowledge of Telecare, healthcare, or public sector procurement.
– Experience with TSA and ISO audit requirements.
– Familiarity with bid tracking and document management tools.
