Bid Manager
Job Description
A global security provider is seeking a Bid Manager to join its team in Dubai. The Bid Manager manages the end-to-end bid process, supporting opportunity qualification, developing proposal content, and coordinating input from cross-functional teams. The role involves collaboration with regional and country leadership, subject matter experts, and the pricing team. Additionally, the Bid Manager contributes to continuous improvement initiatives and supports post-submission activities.
Key Responsibilities:
– Manage the full bid lifecycle, including leading bid kick-offs and producing high-quality written content.
– Coordinate contributions from Legal, Finance, Regional Management, and other stakeholders.
– Structure and format proposal content in line with client requirements.
– Create visual elements to support written content.
– Organise document reviews and ensure timely submission of bids.
– Maintain accurate bid data and respond to post-submission requests.
– Conduct Lessons Learned exercises and support continuous improvement of proposals.
Qualifications & Experience:
– Minimum of three years’ experience managing complex bids within security or government services industry.
– Experience in drafting technical narratives and developing bid strategies.
– Strong track record in coordinating multi-stakeholder inputs.
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
– APMP Foundation (or higher) certification is desirable.
– Familiarity with procurement processes and documentation standards.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaborative proposal tools.
