Profile


A highly experienced and capable Head of Bid Management / Senior Bid Manager with a proven track record of successful leading and delivering technical public and private sector bids and proposals from £100k to £30m within the Construction and Facilities Management industries.
Accustomed to Board level engagement, leading multi-disciplinary teams and engaging collaboratively with key organisational stakeholders to derive and convey the solution in clear and easily appreciable format. A strong appreciation for wider perspective issues and highly empathetic when translating Client needs.

Key Achievements


Delivering over £280m of new and retained business via competitive tender - contributing to 38% organisational growth over a five-year period.
Leading a successful Bid Team delivering over 700 tenders per annum for a diverse range of general construction and maintenance services on a national basis - servicing the requirements of 26 internal customer groups.
Implementing best practice APMP principles within several organisations to promote quality in the selection of opportunities, production of bids and proposals, and the commercial governance and tender settlement process.
Developing team members from Graduate status to fully independent bid professionals.

Experience


Over 13 years' experience of creating and leading winning bid teams - 7 within the Construction industry and 6 within Facilities Management. Over 13 years of frontline experience within the security industry. Accustomed to operating across a diverse range of market sectors including Local and Central Government, Education, Healthcare, Social Housing, Defence, Blue Light, Retail and Leisure.
This Associate also has experience of leading virtual and remote bid teams and working collaboratively with business development and marketing functions to derive maximum value through knowledge sharing and congruence. Extensive experience of framework tendering and supporting applications for professional and industry accreditations / certifications.
