An experienced Researcher, Project Developer / Bid Writer with a proven track record in securing funding for the voluntary, charity and further education sectors.

Key Achievements

Supported a charity based in West Yorkshire in one of the most deprived areas in the UK. Working alongside the management team, staff and trustees successfully secured from the National Lottery £370k over 3 years for running costs, staff salaries and the provision of core services.

Submitted a 'very high quality (as described by the assessment panel) bid' to Erasmus+ (European Commission) programme totalling £180k giving hospitality and catering, early years childcare students huge opportunities to learn about different cultures, different working methods and take part in work placements in Sweden and Denmark.

Was responsible for drawing down external funding amounting to £750k whilst Chief Officer of a voluntary sector organisations based in Lancashire. Funders included the National Lottery, Tudor Trust, European Regional Development Funds (ERDF), Neighbourhood Learning in Deprived Communities (NLDC), Single Regeneration Budget (SRB) and UK online.

With over 25 years of working in and supporting the charity and further education sectors. Has successfully managed the project development and bid writing process. This associate has wide experience of working with and supporting charity sector trustees, directors, managers, staff and volunteers. They have the ability to identify and research grant opportunities that supports organisational aims.
