This associate is an adept and successful Senior Bid Manager with over 25 years' experience in both operational and strategic roles. Significant experience in leading large, multi-disciplinary, complex bids in an OJEU environment in highly regulated industries for clients with opportunities based in existing operational environments and new build sites.
Has established and led successful proposal teams winning Major Frameworks (£200m) and Projects (£20m) at Sellafield, Nuclear HVAC Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) at Hinkley Point C leading to circa £220m contract, developed principals of consortium agreement with French partner and steered consortium into round 2 for Balance of Plant at Hinkley Point C worth £120 - £180m and won Outage and Maintenance contracts up to £80m p.a.

Developed major project sales & proposals process increasing sales whilst reducing costs.
Developed opportunity business case that forensically challenged success criteria leading to more successful pursuits with dismissal of low probability opportunities.
Developed programme and project management approach to portfolio leading to optimised resource management and reduced proposal costs.
Developed negotiation framework for major project proposals.
Introduced capture management aligning bid delivery strategy, sales proposition and delivery solution into all-encompassing offering.
MBA nearing completion, qualifications in Project Management, Risk, Proposal Management and Operations.
Experience
Has managed bid budgets in excess of £1m, leading 40+ team members with complex governance satisfying UK and non-UK boards. Regularly manages stakeholder alignment for the required support from functional departments to deliver contract winning proposals. Possesses highly developed communication skills and is able to influence and persuade others whilst maintaining effective and positive relationships across an organisation. Can effectively apply commercial and business understanding to bids and applies competitor intelligence and analysis in bid delivery strategies.
